A FINE REGENCY CARVED WOOD CONVEX MIRROR

the hollow framed applied with balls around a black slip and the original perfectly foxed mercury plate, topped by a well carved Eagle on pedestal, wings spread and a weight in it's beak. Within the design of this mirror is the symbolism of the Napoleonic wars and the eventual death of Admiral Lord Nelson, English circa 1810.
