A RELATIVELY RARE FLOOR STANDING LAMP

Manufactured by the notable Swedish company Atelje Lyktan in the late 1960s or early 70s, in perfect original condition. A smaller table version was also produced. This one has lost its makers label, however just legible is a stamped oval and letters TYP 295 on a chrome fitting, possibly the model or a part number. The lamp contains two bulbs of low wattage, this allows the lamp to offer three different light strengths depending on the mood you need to create. The arm rotates and the head also swivels, all joints are good quality and feel nice and tight. Within the head there is a plastic grill/diffuser which pops in and out, a little loose in certain positions, probably due to shrinkage, simply rotate it and it finds a tight position.
