AN EXTREMELY PRETTY SWEDISH HANGING GLASS LIGHT by GLÖSSNER, SWEDEN

A clear glass bowl of jelly mould shape, engraved with stylised rain clouds and flying geese houses a 2-way electrical fitting, all in perfect original condition, almost certainly designed by Komp Bodén and made by Glössner-Co, a Nazi-refugee escaping to Sweden in the late 1930's. This light is typical of Glössner's style and this one in particular was used to advertise the company's work which included glass table tops and architectural panels to mount on doors and walls.
